New Studio Open - Sneek Peek

It's Official...although there are a few touch-ups and several small projects still to complete, we are OPEN!!!  YEA!!  We never thought this day would come.  Because of the extensive love and labor we have devoted to opening this new space for all of you (okay and maybe for us too)..ha!... we have fallen a tad bit behind.  Therefore we are sharing just one for now!  Promise more to come!!

Alistair Tutton "Al", an awesome photographer shot this while covering a story on my friend Meredith's loft and my studio space for the upcoming September issue of Kansas City Home and Garden Magazine. Check out his cool stuff HERE!  Thank you Al and Andrea for you kindness, talent and trip to Leavenworth!!  We enjoyed hanging out with you!

Happy Birthday!

I just wanted to wish one of my best friends a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!  I can not tell you all enough what this girl means to me!  We met 4 1/2 years ago at a firedepartment function our husbands took us to...we were both pregnant and the ONLY sober ones there!  We became instant friends and our kids have become close over the years as well.  She is the one responsible for my growth as a photographer and a business woman.  I would not be where I am today if I had not met her that night!!

Gurgle...Gurgle...

Can you hear me drowning???  Thanks to all of you for being SO patient during this crazy period of my life.  The studio is set to open next week and Kansas City Home and Garden Magazine is set to arrive at 8am Wednesday morning to do a story on the studio and loft above me.  It is just amazing the transformation that has occured over the past 6months - it really is a dream come true for me!!  I can't wait to share pics, but for now, I just don't have the time.  I am shooting, proofing and ordering as quickly as possible.  I apologize if you have had to wait, but I promise it is worth it...I have the most amazing friends and clients!!

Just wanted to give you all an update considering I have been a BAD blogger lately - I am sure my BLOG was feeling neglected also!

FYI - FORMAL INVITES TO FOLLOW, BUT STUDIO OPEN HOUSE SET FOR AUGUST 23RD - TIMES TO BE DETERMINED!  HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

So, once upon a time I wanted to be a photographer.  Then I became one, almost overnight it seems sometimes.  Then, I wanted to photograph seniors.  That has been a bit of a go.  I have been looking for senior reps to help expand this portion of my business for some time, and look who I found! 

LEE!  Isn't she gorgeous.... FUN, ENERGETIC, BEAUTIFUL, EASYGOING, NATURAL, SHEEK..... so Lee, these two (sorry that is all I could squeeze in right now) are for you.

Here is one I snapped of my son before he got his head shaved.  YES, he now is regreting it and wants it back.  Oh well, it grows and at least he is MUCH cooler this summer:)
