I write this as I am sittingon my living room couch watching the History Channel. They are airing a program called 102 MINUTES THAT CHANGED AMERICA. I can't help but be moved and choke up at the sheer terror that happened that day seven years ago. Check out the link to view video from various points around the city the morning of the attack. It shows raw footage, all unedited from nine different eyewitnesses. These American's - just to hear their live documentation of that horrific day - words can not explain. Waiting and watching as you see the fireman, policeman, emergency personal - all in shock - to see their faces - so surreal. The reactions so different, fear so intense -anger and saddness. Gosh, I am so torn. A part of me can't stop watching this documentary, a part of me wishes my husband had never called to tell me turn it on. I pray for those who continue to hurt and feel pain from that day.
This is to those who lost their lives that day or who's lives were changed by losing a loved one. This is also to those who continue to fight for our justice, security and freedom. I feel so lucky and blessed to live in and raise my family in the best place in the world, the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! I am proud to be an American!!
Take this time to remember that day...
