Today is a very sad day for my family. Our oldest dog, Cheyenne, was laid to rest. She came into our world in April of 1997 when my husband and I had just started dating. She was the "test" to our relationship and eventually marriage to see if we should tackle kids. She didn't sway us much considering I was pregnant on our first anniversary. Now four boys later...
In February, Cheyenne turned 13. She has brought us many laughs, memories and protection. She was a great dog and will be so GREATLY missed. My heart breaks and I my eyes fill with tears as I write this and look back at the not so distant memories. We hated having to do this, but she is no longer suffering and is where she born to be.

horribly sad! I'm so sorry. Riley is 10 now and I know the day is coming. He was our first baby, too. Thinking of you!
